That first pattern is awesome. It looks like it should be on a child's bed spread. I really like the linework and how the coloring of it is just off a bit. It gives it a really playful and childlike appearance. I would probably go with more of a subdued blue for that secondary pattern though.
This is really simple and cute. I can totally see a children's clothing or fabric line come out of this. It seems to flow smoothly, I think you have enough variation and repetition in your shapes and colors that you don't get stuck on any one part of the pattern.
I love your first pattern, especially how the coloring isnt totally lined up with the shapes, it makes it really dynamic and more interesting. These patterns go together very well, but I agree that that dark blue maybe seems kind of overpowering in comparison to the first pattern.
super cool, i dig your colors and the icons are super cute. although the skull seems slightly out of context with the rest of the icons. good job though
These patterns are really cute! I could see them being implemented on children's fabric as clothing and even bedding. The icons that you created are fun and simple. It might be nice if you played around with dark blue as the background on the second pattern. The dark blue feels a little overwhelming and might benefit as an icon color instead.
The top pattern definitely has the whole kids summer camp treasure map vibe you told me you were going for. You totally succeeded in keeping your icons simple, while still showing a lot of detail and really setting a scene. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the dark blue behind your second pattern though, I think just lightening that up might be a bit easier on the eyes. Very nice overall though, and cool icons.
This is a really cute collection - really nice linework on these - I think the chinoiserie works really well and the types of icons you picked are really fun! I think the rendering of it is really friendly, too - which is nice. One thing that I think you could do is see what happens if you scale the castle or the green tree down a little - that's the only place that it's striping -- is the tree part since it's big and the only big area of green. I really like the bright blue pattern, too - that one is a nice contrast to the linear chinoiserie - the elements share a really nice hand done quality, too - and the whole collection seems really harmonious! I love the addition of the stripe as well. I could also see this as a great collection on fabric!
Kudos for having a solid line go throughout the pattern! That's tough. The whole piece has a nice playful feel and I'm really digging the illustrated elements. However, I'm not too sure on the second pattern with some of the shapes - they look a bit unrefined compared to some of the others.
