Here's my work for this week. My first piece is the in-class speed painting I did based on the "portrait of the future" concept we had. The second round of WIPs are stages of a speed painting I did outside of class. It started as this strange jet being shot down, but I was more interested in the color scheme. So in the last 10 minutes I started over from scratch. The final concept looks rough, but I'm much happier with how it turned out.
The next four are the "before & after"s of the images I chose to color correct. The first one is a piece from my Freshman year that was floating around my computer and the second is an ink drawing that I touched up to use in the MCAD Fight Club Zine.

its interesting to see how change in your color usage between the different speed paints. there much more tonal and remind of the landscapes we did for our last assignment in illustrator. you did a good job with your image corrections too. especially in the colored one its so much brighter now.
