You've got a good grasp on establishing times of day with your colors- I distinguish from dusk, dawn, and noon immediately. As for the landscape itself, I like it overall, but I feel like the house is missing one more layer of detail to give a little more dimension - not to the point of overpowering the whole landscape, but it looks a little flat at the moment. The design of said house is cool, though.
Plus, I love the twist for your fourth version- an impish sense of destruction with the meteor heading straight for the house!
I think your time transitions are really superb. The moving of the shadows and the sun/moon/stars was a really nice touch. Maybe if you wanted to redo this, you could slightly adjust the color of the house to make it a bit darker in nighttime scenes - it kinda vanishes a bit.
