FINAL-dry media-boy form the omen (the first one)

it was actually really easy to use the dry media tools in corel painter. at first i was a bit worried about how much control i would have with the tools, but i must say that this is deffinitley one of my favorite programs.i started off using the soft pastels and covered the canvas layer in 2 tones then i switched to a hard pastel to block everything. i switched back and forth between hard and soft. and slowly built up the layers

so i decided on summer/spring for my season. My main pattern was a chinoiserie

Movie Poster

so i decided to make a Rosemary's Baby poster.i mostly used the pen,and the blob brush,but i also made my own type and played with the width tool . i really play with the original super minimalistic poster and make it my own.i kept the green and mountains/rocks, but i ditched the cradle for something more fun. At first making the text was kinda hard for me to grasp but once i figured it out it was pretty fun.

i made this weird guy for this weeks assignment. i used the pen and the drawing tool and 6 textures. i actually had a lot of fun with this project,and i plan on making more of these.

well this was new for me and i ended up spending alot more time than i thought i would on this project, but i learned some stuff about using the pen and pencil tool in illustrator and that was helpful though i had some trouble using the layers . hopefully i do better on my next project.
