1st touchup, 2nd touchup, speedpaint WIP, speedpaint final respectively! For the touchups I mostly used the Transform -> Warp tool to correct proportions, Lasso tool, and Spot Healing Brush to fix dark spots in the texture. I also did some color correcting via Hue/Saturation and Color Balance using Adjustment layers to push for some of colors I was originally going for. For the speedpaint I used the brushes I already had (Kyle's Masterpack - Pencil Soft for linework, some solid brush for colorblocking, Add Grain 2 for depth) and worked with clipping masks to manipulate the lineart. The final layer of color was made using a gradient and Overlay setting. I fidgeted with the Levels towards the end - honestly every time I look at a finished piece work, I'll want to nudge the levels up or a down a notch or two, but since it was a speedpaint I had to keep myself from doing so, haha.
