You should add more progression shots of the blood dripping. Have a drop go from the tooth, hang off of it, then drop farther and father away. There's not enough downward movement to indicate that something is dripping. You could animate the light in the background to flicker on and off, something that could effect the lighting of the whole entire piece like lightning in a horror movie.
Maybe there is a way that you could add one frame where a blood drop hovers on the edge of the tooth before dropping off. I like how you can see it dripping down, too. It'd feel a bit more natural if the tweens didn't disappear and reappear? One way to do that would be to just add a couple more keyframes and move the blood down a bit by hand instead of the fade out? That way it'd look like it was moving downward instead of disappearing. I think that it's really close to having that natural movement, I think it's mostly in the tweens!
I think what this piece needs is a bit of speedup and a bit of redraw with the dripping blood. By adding more rapid movement and additional frames (removing the opacity transitions), I think this would really help the entire piece flow better.
I think this one could use some more time- the idea itself is funny (and grizzly at that) so you've got the right ingredients, but the animation itself is rather lackluster and it looks more like a sequence of images rather than an actual fluid dripping. You just need to work in more consistent frames. Also, I'd suggest finding a way to push the background further away, because it flattens the image right now.
GROSSSSSS! I love how dirty you made everything feel in this and how red everything is. Just wondering how that drip might have felt if you'd drawn a few more subtle-y changing frames of animation beyond the tween effect.
I think the idea behind this is great (and gross), I just wish there was a little more hand drawn animation, because it looks like there's a lot of tweening going on here. The animation is pretty smooth, but it'd be nice to see more actual dripping. The colors are very gross and dirty looking too, so that works nicely.
