With the textures and effects you added, you were able to make the landscape seem realistic and like all the photo mash ups in it belonged together. One thing I would work on is deciding what parts of the piece are going to be the most focused and clear. It doesn't feel like there's a lot of depth in the scene because a lot of different parts are in and out of focus.
The atmosphere in the final product has a very ethereal feeling! I would've loved to see more of your own touch of painting present through the process. Maybe a pinch more of the dark tones to balance out the bright warms and the springy green color scheme, just to give the eye a spot to rest. The added trees and sunflowers make the scene of the field come to life. It would be beautiful painted in your style!
The first photo is super boring and plain (no pun intended), but you managed to make it beautiful and dream-like. There's still a feathered outline around the tree which could be fixed by messing with the levels and colors to match it to the sky, or just be covering it with some brushstrokes. The flowers cut off a little bit too, so maybe have them taper off more.
Seriously though you weren't kidding, this DOES look like a MTG land card. I think that alone speaks for itself, but specifically you did a great job with unifying the colors in the image with that white glow. That said, the glow might be a little too uniform in the landscape. I'd tone it down a little bit in the uttermost foreground and fade out the tree closest to the background. Otherwise, awesome!
Such a magical place! I think that all of the bright lighting and the textures that you've added to the last layers of the photobash made a big difference! The different pieces feel unified by the way that you're overlaying the colors and the paint. I think that you also made some really nice choices making some diagonals happen in the piece by adding the rocks in the foreground, and some of the rows of foliage. It's funny -that sunny color palette did such a great job of unifying it. One thing I think you could do is blur out the tree in the background just slightly -it's the only thing that is looking a bit out of place because of it's sharpness! Doing a tiny bit of gaussian blur would help it recede a bit into the background - maybe even play with the levels of it a bit to get rid of the deep shadows a bit, too!
I look the dreamlike quality of this landscape! The photos work very nicely together, but I think the effects you added afterwards are what really pulled the piece together.
i like this a lot, super simple yet super effective. its got a great composition and some cool elements i will say that the final product looks a little too bright for my taste though. it sort of looks like an atomic bomb went of near by off view. great job though!
I love how clearly worked your style into this. The colors you used have this magical atmosphere going on and it works really well in bringing out the dullness of the original image. Like Trina said, I would have loved to see more painting worked it. I still feel like its at it's collage stage, but working some painting into the tree and foreground specifically would really take it to the next level.
