I couldn't get it up on Flickr for some reason, so I'm using Imgur until I figure that out!

  1. the movement in this is really smooth, and the frame movement that you can see works to your advantage, I think this was super successful! also love your colors used.

  2. This is super cool, i love the textures. i think the movement is great, nice and simple but very effective. it could have maybe been cool to see a page in her book change but thats about all i can think of

  3. I love how vintage it looks, very bewitched. I think it's great how you have multiple things moving at different paces, but I wish there was something in the background to bring it all together like shining/shooting stars. You can see where the image starts and stops but I think that it really works well with your animation as if she's tapping the cauldron to fix the light flickering.

  4. This animation is pretty smooth, and your color pallet is really nice. I think it'd be cool to maybe add some little twinkly lights in the back ground?

  5. I really like where this is heading- the animation is fluid and at just the right interval, and the image itself works quite nicely too. That said, I feel like she's missing something- I think she needs to blink or her eyes move slightly back and forth as though reading the book. That would really complete it and give it even more charm. But all in all, it still came out really nice- I just want to see more!

  6. Nice witch. It looks like it should be in a children's book. The animation has that really nice quickly moving effect that using only a few frames will give it, but it doesn't look jarring.

  7. This is really smooth. I like the way you made the movements one after another instead of at the same time. It works very well!

  8. This is super fun Patti! I love the Gigi Digi feel of it. The one thing is the witch blends with the shape of the cauldron, creating a single outline when there could be two more active silhouettes interacting. This might accentuate the playful vibe of the piece.
