The speed of the movement here works really well, but i think the fact that his eye dissapears for a second (Is he blinking?) maybe disconnects from the rest of the frames, I still see the expression youre going for, i just think if there was a hint of an eye it would run smoother.
The shadow that you made on his head as the bird flies overhead is really nice, and I think the pacing works well. I agree with Keeli that the eye disappearing is detracting from the gif as a whole, and just something there would really help.
I love the humor in this!! When we were given time to walk around the classroom and peek at each others' work, this one made me smile the most. The bird's shadow is an awesome touch, I have to say. Your variation in speed throughout the frames are great.
Something I didn't notice until seeing it here is how his eye does disappear, not sure what happened there but it should only take a minute to add those back in, so no real complaints other than that.
This is funny! I feel like narratively I remember the spit coming from above him, as if he was on a bridge above himself which somehow felt more compelling than a bird crapping on him. It's very fun to watch this loop!
The animated parts of this are really nice and fluid, and the concept is great. However, I also agree with the eye part, which you could easily fix by just replacing that from with like a little wincing eye line.
you can tell where the loop starts because of the eye position, he's looking back then forward the next frame. I like the movement of the bird and its shadow, that's really well done. This is a good start and I think you have a good understanding of movement and animation.
