Lindsay's gif - Great Personality Kitchen

Great Personality Kitchen! Daytime and Night Time!

Here's how to upload it to the blog.
Save for web - and make sure to change it to "gif" at the top drop down menu.
Then, go to the bottom of the window near the right hand corner and change the size to 500px wide.
Push Save.

Then, upload to Flickr.
When you post, go to the down arrow and click "original size"
Then, right click on the image and open in new tab.
Copy the url.

(The gif should be moving! If it's not, you may have saved it wrong?)

Then, go to blogger and when you want to put it into the body of the post, click on the little image button.
Then click on "from an url"
and then plug in the url that you got from Flickr.
Push Add Selected.

It should upload it!
Good luck!

Hello!

Hello_Introimage
Hi you guys! I am super excited!
This is the first post on our class blog, where we'll share processes, links, resources and a bunch of other things. We'll be interfacing with a ton of online communities as well as getting familiar with best practices for archiving your work! Thanks in advance for signing in and getting a profile! You're going to get privileges so you can post and edit! I'll tell you more about this later, but for now, here you go! Also, you'll have to sign up and get accounts on both of these guys for class.

Blogger

Flickr uses a yahoo sign-in, but don't worry, it's totally worth making another account. Blogger is through gmail, so you should be able just to sign in and join the group! I'll tell you all about why this is what we're up to! Until then, welcome and I'm super excited to have class with you guys! :) Here are some links to the things I'm involved in so you can see why I like teaching this class!

So -- one of the perks about teaching a digital illustration class is that I get to share some of the things that I know about building a good presence online, and what might make it a little easier for you build your reputations! I'll try to help you feel comfortable posting, sharing and blogging (in addition to the core of what we're doing in class -- MAKING --... so yeah.

Excited to work with you guys! :)
